This year's ‘Wyedean’ will run a different format to previous years, three stages run twice, all based in the Forest of Dean including scrutineering, service and documentation. About 40 miles of stage and 45 miles of road section.
As a new organising team we are looking to you for help on this year’s Wyedean Stages Rally, I am sure you are all aware of the additional requirements that RallyFuture has brought about, putting additional responsibility on organisers to ensure stages are appropriately manned. This means we need as many people to come along and assist as we can. Whatever your skill level, we can find a suitable role for you. It can be arranged for any new marshal to be teamed with a suitably trained person for the day.
May we recommend that everyone undertakes the MSA online accreditation (if you have not already done so), which ensures everyone has the basic skills needed. This can be done by logging on to the MSA website here.
We need in Stage Marshals, Start Crews, Finish Crews, Radio Crews to name but a few. Planning is now well underway and it promises to be a great event as always. We would like to get our key players on board as quickly as possible and therefore would like to invite you to join us.
To offer your services on the event, please contact Sarah and Stuart (the Joint Chief Marshals) on sarah01348@hotmail.com or Tel.: 01594 860016. Please do not phone after 21.00.
